Richard D. Zajac was born in Lancaster, New York, just outside of Buffalo. He then moved to Fairport, New York, which is a suburb of Rochester, New York when Zajac was 5. Zajac began selling security systems in the fall of 1996 and moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in the fall of 1999. Zajac has four children, two boys and two girls which all go to Carolina Forest schools. Zajac currently lives in Carolina Forest with his children and is the sole managing member of Silent Guard, LLC doing business as Platinum Home Theater.
